Peter Tosh - Black Dignity (The Early Recordings1967-1972)

The Mighty Steppin' Razor, y'all - never 'nuff Respect. I may have mentioned once or twice before my love of Peter Tosh. This is only one of the necessary compilations of Tosh's music that we all need for our collections. Another must-have would be 'Honorary Citizen' and a few others I may well share soon with you good people. There was a menace and anger that Peter had that wasn't evident as a back-up singer for Bob Marley but came to it's full fruition as a solo artist. Yet another Rasta prophet in my opinion and it seemed, before he was violently taken from us, that he was finaly coming to terms with a few things about himself and the world he lived in. Missed every bit as much as John Lennon by DaddyRich and played even more on his stereo's. Give a listen and enjoy the kind reggae music and excellent dubbing, courtesy of the master Joe Gibbs (of whom there will more, as well). Peace.

Great compilation, thanks for the post. Would love some of the rare B-sides on the intel-diplo label. I've been trying to find them for many many years.
Thanks again
