John Lennon - King Biscuit Flower Hour Concert & Interview (1972)
(cd radio show for broadcast 8/20/95 recorded live at madison square garden, new york '72)
What a treasure trove of great music these King Biscuit folks have, eh? I am usually a sucker for anything Beatle-related and find ways to love it even if it stinks. This one, thankfully, is a wonderful document of the man and his music. Crystal-clear performance and relevant interview clips liven up this wonderful listening experience. This is every bit as enjoyable as the 'Breakfast With The Beatles' show we all know and love. Hard to believe it's been more than 25 years without John - you are missed but not forgotten. Hope you all enjoy.
