Nirvana - The Complete Radio Sessions

This here is a nice little collection of radio sessions (including the obligatory Peel Sessions that looks good on any bands resume) from the once mighty Nirvana. I guess you kind of had to be there to understand all the hoopla. I doubt anyone except for advertising executives really bought in to Kurt Cobain being any kind of leader or even role model for anyone of age around this time. Sure we all wore a bit more flannel - but we were already growing our hair long. He seems to have been lionized and canonized after his death, which is normal enough for the American press to do. They had 2 great and 1 pretty good album - not sure if that qualifies for the 'legendary' status they have accumulated over the ensuing years. But I am digressing... this is a wonderful sampling of songs spanning their mainstream career and it is one of the more high-quality boots available with their music. Turn it on and up and you can almost smell the b.o. and herb smoke...ahhhhh it's almost like 1991 again.
