The Smiths - Before.... The Original Troy Tate Sessions

In 1983 as the Smiths were nearly done recording their landmark first album they suddenly had a change of heart. Or, at least, Morrissey did - and sacked the producer Troy Tate and said his album mix just wasn't up to snuff. He seemed to be the only one who felt that way, but when Morrissey speaks many fall in line and Troy was gone. In comes John Porter to re-record the songs and provide the crystal-clear well polished sound we enjoy from the first record. Opinions may very but alternate versions of any Smiths songs are always collectible, aren't they? This is in 2 parts for you fine people and comments from you are always welcomed.

What a great taste you have. Thanks for all the Smiths/Moz posts, anyway is there any chance of reposting some of the older ones as many of your Rapidshare posts get deleted? First come, first served, I know, but still hope to get a positive answer. By the way, have you tried turboupload?

Let me get my hands on more Moz and rare Smiths. Please please please repost all the earlier Smith's and Moz posts. Thanks.

You've already heard my voice by having posted Moz's 2004 Malmo gig. Anyway, the Interesting Drug EP repost would be much appreciated, too. Still haven't tried turboupload or at least naming your files something like "M-IDEP.zip" to prevent them from being deleted from Rapidshare (sooner than is nice)? Thank you for your time, I'll keep coming back.
