Funkadelic - Uncle Jam Wants You (Rescue Dance Music From The Blahs)
Oh yes, another Funkadelic post and another classic. This os one you can throw on during a party and just get down for an hour straight. Hell one of the songs seems like an hour long anyways. I still have vivid memories of them at Lollapalooza in 1994 and the funk was in the house (or Velodrome, as it were) and asses were shaking. Such great stuff and is still played on vinyl in my house whenever possible, it makes house work not so boring. I love some hip-hop as you all know and you can listen close and see how this record has been raped for music by some of the genres giants. When you do something this good it's bound to have a lasting effect on folks, I guess.

I was considering reposting a few of the Prince outtakes plus a 5 disc unreleased box set. I am still searching for info. on the box set and coming up empty - so we'll see what I can find.
