Live - Mtv Unplugged


I think I am putting this up here just to annoy some folks. Live is one of the bands that I still greatly enjoy and have much respect for - while most folks just slag them. It's easy to dislike them for what some may see as bombast and over-earnestness in their songs. To me, that translates as honesty and sincerity. True, many albums later they may not have topped 'Throwing Copper', but how many bands never even have one classic album? This concert has many of their best songs and after listening to it again last night, it still sounds fresh and relevant. Just one of the many perks of blogging - putting up music you really dig, even if no one else does. I may even start a new thread of albums that I am the only one I know (or is willing to admit) really likes. Hmmmmmm....
