Biz Markie - Make The Music With Your Mouth, Biz 12" EP


Another little chunk of hip-hop history for you great people. I am imagining anyone who is a student of rap music (many of my friends/visitors here) already own this and the wonderful album that followed but I would like to turn on a few new folks if I can. Most people already are familiar with Biz from (yikes) the horrible 'Just A Friend' which, although a crappy song for the pop charts that gathered some new fans, does serve to give a newcomer a sense of what this cat is about. Biz is a great human beat box but his allure lies more in his offbeat sense of humor and all around Biz-ness. Still active on the scene and getting praise as a pioneer from the late old school (even though most all of his rhymes were written by Big Daddy Kane, but I digress....) and often seen at Beastie Boys sightings we love the Biz and are still waiting for more. Enjoy and prepare yourselves for much more in the future.
