Various Artists - Regatta Mondatta: A Reggae Tribute To The Police

I have always loved The Police and the great music they had made in their time. As I grew I learned to love reggae music as well and found out how greeatly Sting & Stewart Copeland were influenced by the greats of reaage and riddim. After that revelation it became a simple thing to hear their songs and alow them down with a riddim in mind and see how many would have made great 'straight' reggae songs, sans the pop touches. Not to take ANYTHING away - like I said, I love their music. Many years ago I heard 'Spirits In The Material World' sung by Pato Banton and it blew me away. Sting also accompanies some of the artits on this great effort. Hope You all enjoy and get real IRIE tonight.
