David Bowie - Live With Lou July 8 , 1972
This is a good one here, although Lou is only on a few tracks. It's from such a great period for both of their music, although the drugs and sleepless nights would soon take a terrible toll on them both. Just look at that setlist! 'Ziggy Stardust', 'Hang On To Yourself', 'Changes' and 'Space Oddity' among so many more classics - if It had a version of 'Rock & Roll Suicide' like the film did, I would be in heaven. Although they look a little too close for comfort onthe back, it was a strange time and they make for strange bedfellows, no? Just enjoy the awesome music with these two geniuses.
1. Intro
2. Hang Onto Yourself
3. Ziggy Stardust
4. Life On Mars
5. The Supermen
6. Starman
7. Changes
8. Five Years
9. Space Oddity
10. Andy Warhol
11. Amsterdam
12. I Feel Free
13. Moonage Daydream
14. White Light, White Heat
15. Waiting For The Man
16. Sweet Jane
17. Suffragette City

Another great one.
Thanks.
Mahou.
Incredible, Thanks!!!!
I'd love to hear this, but I get errors when trying to open.
It fails to open with WinRAR, but works fine with WinZip.
Great stuff, Daddy!
Many thanks.
Thanks for posting this DR!
I get some extract errors in winrar also; this is due the : sign in the folder.
Hint: WinRar users can extract without problems by just opening the archive and extract the mp3 files without activating the 'extract path' (see: advanced options).
PS. Is there another part? This archive contains 9 mp3 files; last one is Space Oddity...
Tnx & best regards, Mike NL
I am open to suggestions yet again, 200 downloads so far and only a few problems. If need be I will re-up and see what happens.

I, too, had problems unraring the file (using 7-Zip). When I did manage it there were only nine tracks inside. They sound great so it would be nice to have the rest! Thanks.
I didn't have any problems downloading or opening it. But, as anonymous pointed out, there are only the first nine songs in this download. Thanks for making this available!
AAAAAARRRGGGGGGHHHH...okay - I am on the case, folks. I will post an update as soon as I can.
DaddyRich
Hear-Rock-City blogspot have posted this - not realising that there are only 9 tracks available so far. OOOPPS !!!
yeah, weak. i really wanna hear this but cant open it cause of errors. this happened last week to me with something from this blog too.
Dear Anonymous - please don't slag this nice Ape who shares his music. Statistically, stuff will happen. Maybe it's at your end, who knows....Just say thanks and move along to the next dl or start posting yourself. Say please and thank you and be cool. Kay?

Hi All! Hi DR!
This is Mike Anonymous ;) with a small remark which might be helpfull... if not... sorry ;).
The source of the confusion - the presumed errors in some rar files that is - is imho due to a difference between Mac and Windows. Windows doesn't allow this folder name "example:example" within a rar. Thus when you extract such rar in Windows with the right click button with the standard option 'extract with pathname' on, you will be bombarded with errormessages :).
The rar is ok though, and - of course, so is DaddyR! :) - Anyway... The solution: Windows users just have to double click the rar archive and then drag and drop the mp3 files to a folder of their choice. That should work.
Hope this makes some sense.
greetings!
Yes, I worked out how to open the rar properly but as I and others have said there were only nine tracks inside. Are others getting all 17? Should I try downloading again? I'm sorry to complain - I do appreciate DaddyRich's goodness in making this available - I'm just keen to hear the whole thing!
Bowie/Lou looks like a great show, however I've tried to open it numerous times and can't.
HEY DADDY-O ANOTHER COOL DOWNLOAD LOOKING FORWARD TO THE REST AS AND WHEN, NOW DUDES BE PATIENT AND KIND YOU ALL KNOW THE GOOD DADDY WILL PROVIDE RESPECT IS ALL !
daddyrich is most kind to share all of this great music with us. I would like to give my utmost thanks. You rule the school!
I can extract 9 of the 17 tracks only (+ the covers). Looking forward 4 the repost. thanks Daddyrich for this incredible historical document.

ANDY: relax boss. I was being "cool", didnt expect an unprovoked attack. I was just commenting cause i thought it would be helpful to "daddyrich", or whoever controls the blog, to know how pervasive the problem is (or is not). Don't talk down to me, I doubt I offended daddyrich or anyone, noone asked you to be the police.
and daddyrich...i do enjoy your blog and thank you for what you provide, but i dont need to be attacked like that. peace

Msg above is mainly @ Anonymous 11:45 AM not Andy. Sorry ;)
Wonderful...thanks Daddy :-)
Best and most grateful wishes...snø
Thanks for this great record.
Just wondering, whats all the fuss about?
Could someone who did manage to download it re-up the album? It looks incredible! Thanks Daddy Rich!
Here's my two cents:
1) DaddyRich - you have amazing taste in music, and your collection is equally incredible. Thank you for all of the sharing.
2) I downloaded the file, which is a zip file (not sure if it was originally a rar) and had trouble getting anything out of it (I'm a Windows user). My solution was to open the zip file using winrar. This should show a couple of folders, one of which has the name "Bowie:Reed" (or something similar). I then chose to rename the folder (right-click and choose the "rename" command)and eliminate the colon. I then was able to open the folder within WinRAR and drag the individual files to a folder on my hard drive.
3) Alas, I too found only 9 mp3 files. DaddyRich - if you (or anyone else out there) has the remaining 8 mp3 files, I would be extremely grateful if they can be uploaded with a link given in a new post. If not, I will simply express my gratitude for what I now have and enjoy the treat :).
Amen to the last anon. I'm dying to hear this show and cannot open link.
I am sorry to hear of the continued problems, I have been looking among my hard drives (I usually save a good file to 2 places) and I am only finding the version with 9 songs. I may have been an idiot and accidenatlly trashed the rest when I deleted the temp. .zip file I created when I uploaded to Rapidshare. It's hard to believe but it's all I can come up with. I will find the rest and post it here again. Thanks all for the help.
D.R.
I've downloaded all the Bowie music you've put up (with the exception of Divine Symmetry which had expired). For a new and young Bowie fan this stuff... well, I couldn't sleep last night thinking about listening to it all in the morning! Thanks for all the great music. And I've also spotted material by a few bands I love -- can't wait to listen to it all!
I certainly hope your medical and insurance problems get resolved!
Appreciatively,
Diana
Beautiful. Thank you so much! Can you post the remaining tracks? Can't wait to see how it all ends. All the Best! Terry
Awesome record, let´s start praying for you finding the remaining tracks...or someone who has it to come up and share it. Thx!!!
Aw, C'mon, Someone must have this. I'm now getting VERY desperate that I haven't got the second half of this set.
